2020-Greatest 365 Puzzles-From Practical Games of 2012 Part 1

Greatest 365 Puzzles, Part One is a traditional sort of puzzle book in that it is
simply a collection of puzzles for solving. It contains, unsurprisingly, 365
puzzles, which are arranged in five chapters:

● Easy (109 puzzles)
● Medium (122 puzzles)
● Hard (74 puzzles)
● Tests (50 puzzles)
● Top 10 (10 puzzles)

The puzzles cover a large range of tactical themes and were all culled from
games played during the first quarter of 2012, from events such as Wijk an
Zee, Gibraltar, Aeroflot, and the European Championship.
Csaba Balogh writes that the "highest priority" of his selection was to use "the
practical aspects of the puzzles and take the level of calculation [of the reader]
to a completely new dimension." He notes that he tried to mix three things:

● A lot of fun by solving the puzzles.
● Discover many new tactical ideas.

● Practical use in future games.
